2011 Summer Concert Series Lineup

June 25 – Heritage Days
Double Wide

Double Wide is a country music band that hails from Ogden Utah and includes six accomplished musicians who have played in many other groups before joining forces.  Some of the former groups and artists they have played with include Gearhead, The Lofters, Red Shot Pony, the Utah State Symphony, Asa Cruz, Takara, and Journey singer Jeff Soto.  They believe that the foundation of great country music is good stories, great musicians and a little twang. www.doublewideband.com

Low Fi Riot, opening for
Vocalocity



Vocalocity is an aCapella group from Ogden which
does a high energy, very entertaining array of popular music arranged for 5 voices. Very family-friendly show sure to inspire and entertain everyone! Vocalocity took 1st place at the Northwest Regional Harmony Sweepstakes Competition and went on to the Nationals, competing against 8 other groups. www.vocalocitylive.com/home.cfm

Amanda Heise, opening for
Mermaid Baby

Winner of the 2011 Standard Examiner Top of Utah Battle of the BandsMermaid Baby is an Indie/Rock/Surf trio formed in late 2009 in Ogden, Utah. They have played many shows along the Wasatch Front in the past year, and just recorded their first demo: "Whale of a Tale" EP.

Davis County Symphony

Davis County Symphony’s performance at the concert series last year was one of our best attended shows. They promise to delight again with great renditions of a variety of orchestral music from classics to pops.

 In our second annual Open Mic Night, we invite anyone that wants the chance to shine on stage to show us what you’ve got!  Sing a solo, sing as a group, read a poem, do a dance, do a comedy routine – show us your talent!

2 Steps Back

2 Steps Back played at the Heritage Days Concert last summer, and returns to wow us again this year.  With a listener friendly mix of classic and modern rock, this band is sure to be a crowd-pleaser again.
